Myeongdong is a neighborhood reminiscent of a giant shopping mall. In general, Myeongdong Street is about a kilometer from Myeongdong Station on Subway Line 4 to Euljiro and Lotte Department Store. There are many brand-name stores, department stores, and bonded stores in this area. It can be described as a fashion mecca, and you can find a wide variety of clothing, shoes, accessories, and more. It is characterized by having more high-quality brands than Namdaemun or Dongdaemun. For department stores, there are Lotte Department Store and Shinsegae Department Store nearby, and shopping malls such as Noon Square, Myeongdong Mileore, and M Plaza are located on Myeongdong Street. Along with shopping, there are many places to eat and drink in Myeongdong. Food options include family restaurants, fast food restaurants, and Korean, Western, and Japanese cuisine. Among them, Myeongdong pork cutlet and kalguksu (noodles) are famous, so it is recommended to try them. There are also many other amenities in Myeongdong, including hair salons, banks, and theaters.
