NewJeans, who are they?

NewJeans is a South Korean five-member girl group that debuted on July 22, 2022, and is signed to Hive's label, ADORE. The girl group was discovered by Min Hee-jin, a former SM Entertainment visual director who joined Hive as a producer.

The title tracks "Super Shy" and "ETA" from NewJeans' (Minzy, Hani, Daniel, Harin, Hyein) mini album "Get Up" took the first and second spots on Melon, Genie, and Bucks weekly charts (counting period August 7-13) released on August 14. On Melon, "Super Shy" remained on top for five consecutive weeks, while "ETA" came in at No. 2. In Genie and Bucks, the reverse was true, with ETA at #1 and Super Shy at #2.

In particular, "Super Shy" has been enjoying a long run of popularity since its release on the 7th of last month, when it 'all-killed' the real-time and daily charts of major Korean music sites, and swept the weekly and monthly charts for July.

In addition, another title track, "ETA," which was released alongside the album's release on March 21st, has been gaining momentum and continues to be a hit alongside "Super Shy. "ETA" remained at #1 on Bucks for three weeks and finally reached #1 on the Gini weekly chart this week.
